By an overwhelming majority, GNTA's membership has approved a revision to ARTICLE III, Section 5 of the GNTA Constitution. The amended language, now formally adopted, is italicized and in bold below.
“The Association shall not deny membership nor shall it discriminate against its members on the basis of sex, creed, color, race, age, national origin, sexual orientation, or political belief, nor shall any organization which so denies membership be affiliated with the Association.”
